New
Alert monitor to help you track progress |
|
|
AMS
provides an alert monitor.
The alert monitor is designed to help you view and manage key
tasks, events, issues, outstanding actions or any other indicators
used to measure the asbestos management performance in your
organisation.
For example an alert monitor can be set up to show the number of surveys
completed this month, the number of high risk asbestos incidents found
so far, the number of removal actions planned for this year and so on.
The Alert Monitor is easily configured so that you can define what you
want to monitor based on your organisation’s specific needs. |

AMS
Manager Can Handle Even More Complex Properties |
|
|
Up
to now for each property record the AMS Manager supported the building
of a representation of the structure of the property prior or during
Inspection data entry using property levels 1 – 3 (floor, room,
element). This
representation was designed to
create a three-tiered hierarchy.
The
AMS Manager 6.0 now supports the recording of two sub-levels below
level 3 (Levels 4 and 5) to represent and define more complex
properties or ACM locations. |

|
Re-inspection
made easier and more powerful |
|
|
The
re-inspection facility in the AMS has been improved. AMS has a full
Re-inspection management facility now so that a re-inspection proforma
for a selected property/block (or for elements within the property)
can be created with one click in Ms Excel (you will need AMS
Data exchange Utility for this).
The proforma will also include the last inspection information.
The proforma can be emailed to a surveyor so that the new
re-inspection information can be entered by the surveyor and email
back for uploading onto the AMS Manager. |

More
powerful Ad-hoc Reporting |
|
|
The
ad-hoc reporting facility of AMS Manager has been enhanced. You
are now able to define Boolean expressions and complex conditional and
parameterised query statements in your ad-hoc reports.
The interface of query/Report Builder has been improved and
made more intuitive. Also
you can now export your ad-hoc reports to MS Excel (and to Ms Word
thereafter) and paste it onto your management reports. |

Improved
speed, performance and look and feel |
|
|
AMS
Manager 6.0 has been improved to be even more stable, run faster
and perform better over your network.
The new system uses the latest Client-server and MS SQL Server
2000 technologies.
The AMS Manager has also been given an MS XP Look and feel. |
